It took a bit of time and effort to fix the Sunny, but Luffy and co. come rushing in.
Luffy, Law and Kid go ham and chaos ensues.
In the midst of all this chaos, Kyoshiro appears and reveals that he is Denjiro.
By gaining the trust of his underlings and Orochi, he's come as aid together with the samurai that have been released from jail.
Also the military forces that were thought to have sunk are all safe and it seems only the ships that were not needed were destroyed.
The reason for this was because Denjiro thought that Kinemon purposely misread the Yasu's picture puzzle as he (Kinemon) that there was spy/informant among them, but it seems Kinemon was simply just mistaken. |

Orochi was afraid when they couldn't find the dead bodies of Oden's Samurai
Denjiro changed his appearance to hide his identity and then persuaded Orochi to replace Boss Hyogoro as the new Yakuza chief.
Denjiro was also stealing money from the capital under the disguise of Ushimtsu Kozou
Later he found Hiyori in the Flower capital who had separated from Kawamatsu.
He told her to hide her identity until the final decisive battle. Hence she changed her name to Komurasaki.
He then took Komurasaki under his wing and protected her on behalf of Kawamatsu.

Chapter 973 - The Kozuki Family
We see Toki take her last breathe after sending Momo and the Samurai to the future.
Orochi is enraged because he cannot find proof that the Samurai are dead.
In order to conceal his identity, Denjiro changed his appearance, adopting the name "Kyoshiro" and makes underlings.
He completely kills his identity and sticks by Orochi's side taking up Hyougoro's role in the Capital as chivalrous mafia boss. On the other hand, he also acts as the the witching hour boy stealing money from the warehouse.
After that, he discovers Hiyori who had been separated from Kawamatsu and was lost in the town and then reveals his identity to her.
He implores Hiyori to not reveal his identity to even his allies until the very moment the battle starts. He then asks Hiyori to adopt the name Komurasaki and live as such in order to protect her.

- The chapter starts with a flashback to them on Roger's ship with Oden holding Momo up as they return from Skypiea.
- We also have a scene where Oden listens to Hiyori playing her instruments
- We also see Inu and Neko yelling at each other and getting caught.
- Ashura and Denjiro stay to hold back the enemy as the rest run on.
- We see shadows of King standing outside as the castle burns.
- Kaido busts in and chokes Momo. There is a whole page of him choking Momo out while holding him from the edge of a the castle. He then seems to take pity or think it's not worth it cause he flies off.
- Anyway, Kin'emon busts in right after and they skip over the part where they get sent to the future.
- Next we see Kawamatsu jumping out the window and swimming with Hiyori.
- And then we get Toki escaping to the village to deliver the prophesy. She takes a horse. We get a sequence of Toki remembering Oden as she gives her last words. She does not die on panel. It pans up to the moon and we hear a sfx it seems.
- Denjiro is both the witching hour boy and Kyoshiro. After Kawamatsu loses Hiyori she turns up at Kyoshiro's doorstep. He bows to her. Then they come up with a plan, I think the chapter ends with her becoming Oiran. Flashing forwards to the future. |

summary
Toki was aiming for Wano, her parents' hometown, though she doesn't know where she herself was born.
WB was fleeing marine pursuit. Oden, who didn't know about the scope or existence of the WG thought it strange that they didn't fight them.
WB told Oden that the government currently doesn't consider Wano as something that they govern
2 years after Oden set sail, Momonosuke was born
Oden now has a wanted poster, so Izo thought that he should consider his family and return but
Oden refused due to not having an answer yet and Toki said she was ok with it.
The WBP had grown in number and now had 5 divisions. Oden was entrusted with 2nd division.
An orphan with nowhere to go, Teach, also joined
While they continued their adventures Oden desired increasingly to return.
Sukiyaki was critically ill and wanted Oden to be his successor, however due to Oden's absence Orochi was working as a substitute while concealing his last name, Kurozumi.
Orochi promised to repay his debt to Oden and Sukiyaki while also clearing the Kurozumi name.
His grandfather committed seppuku after losing to the Kozuki family. They were formerly one of the 5 great families.
Orochi had been cooperating with an old woman, the user of the Mane Mane no Mi, making preparations to become Shogun.
The 4th year after Oden's departure they met the Roger pirates who had just defeated some marines.
Roger said that it's not fun fighting marines who are not rivals like Sengoku and Garp
Knowing that he wouldn't live much longer, he started thinking about killing WB (and he himself dying in the process) |

-Hundreds of years ago, the Mink tribe and the Kozuki family made an appointment. If one of them experiences hardship, they must help each other.
-Inu and Neko are interested in this ancient story, so they go to the sea, and then stranded in Wano.
-They are treated as monsters along with Kawamatsu being bullied, and finally helped by Oden.
-Kawamatsu was stranded to Wano with his mother because his ship sank.
-Kawamatsu is a Fishman, he remembered the words of his deceased mother that Fishman was discriminated against, so to survive he claimed to be a Kappa
-Oden was interested in the Whitebeard Pirates, who soon came to Kuri with a damaged ship that would take a week to repair. The purpose of Oden was to get on a white beards ship.
-Oden heard that his father had fallen ill, so he went to visit him. Sukiyaki was surprised when he saw his son who had grown rapidly. However, this was their last talk and meeting. |

Ripeto, in base alle mie conoscenze dell'inglese, se in quella frase ci metti "easily" oppure "equally" non cambia il senso di una virgola. A parte che nel 99% dei casi i traduttori non sono inglesi, ma americani, non bisogna mai fermarsi alla semplice traduzione letterale, per cui "easily" non puoi interpretarlo sempre e comunque come "facilmente" e dargli il senso che ha quell'avvrebio in italiano.
Cioè, mettendoci "easily" implichi soltanto che Shanks non avrebbe problemi a combattere con un ammiraglio, cosa comunque scontata dato che ognuno degli Imperatori può fare lo stesso. |

| Ho scoperto un particolare succulento che quasi sicuramente avrà delle importanti implicazioni nella saga di Wano.
Abbiamo visto che il Paese è pieno di fabbriche, inoltre nella versione originale si parla non solo di fabbriche in senso stretto ma anche di cave, cioè luoghi in cui vengono estratti determinati materiali, ai quali Kaido è chiaramente molto interessato.
Abbiamo anche visto che Rufy ha con sè una spada che porta lo stesso nome di una delle tre spade di Zoro, ossia KITETSU, e inoltre che c'è un personaggio, il nasone maestro di Tama, che ha praticamente lo stesso nome, cioè Hitetsu (e magari è stato traslitterato male e pure lui si chiama Kitetsu, però sul punto potrei dire una cazzata) e che le spade KITETSU sono spade maledette per qualche motivo ancora non esplicitato.
Vengo al punto: nel capitolo 803 c'è un dialogo fra Dragon e Koala in cui Dragon fa i complimenti a Koala per aver scoperto che le armi prodotte da Doflamingo a Dressrosa e vendute in giro per il mondo contengono tracce di un minerale molto raro, un minerale che solo pochi Paesi al mondo estraggono e che potrebbe aiutarli a scoprire chi c'è dietro il traffico illecito di armi. Sapete come viene chiamato il suddetto minerale nella versione originale giapponese? Il suo nome è KITETSU-KO!
Immagino che le fabbriche di Wano estraggano proprio quel materiale e che le armi maledette ne siano composte (non esclusivamente, ma almeno in piccola parte), inoltre la Kitetsu di Zoro, secondo le parole dello stesso Zoro, è come se possedesse una volontà propria e avesse sete di sangue. Sappiamo anche che Kaido vuole "distruggere il mondo" e vendere a destra e a manca delle armi fatte con quel materiale "maledetto" sarebbe un buon inizio, IMHO.
Un'altra cosa, una mia intuizione personale che magari avevate già detto nei precedenti post: credo che Toki, la mamma di Momo, abbia vissuto durante i cento anni di buio... |
