More adventures for Mel and Ban in Purgatory until a tusk's tip touches Mel's back. The duo turns to see a sort of boar.

(1/2) Summary: Ban asks Meliodas what he'll do once they get back to their world. The Demon says he'll undo Elizabeth's curse and drink lots of Bernia ale. As for Ban, he'll revive Elaine and drink plenty of Aberdeen ale. A few grasshopper-like beasts are after the duo and one of them spits at Meliodas who full counters the attack. Then a strange big bird with bat wings catches him with its tail and Ban saves him. The Sin of Greed uses Crazy Hunt to kill the grasshoppers. He then picks up a sound and uses his hand to block the movements of the beast we saw last chapter. Ban and Meliodas talk while having a meal. The latter says it's been 500 years since they met again. Ban shows his hand and says the burnings and freezes don't affect him anymore, although he still feels his lungs inflaming quite well. Meliodas says only him can be the human who lived through Purgatory for over a thousand years while retaining his sanity. He adds that Ban's experience of Purgatory gives him an explosive change. Then he suggests Ban to go find the Demon King and get back to their world. Meliodas states he will then grope Elizabeth around and Ban says he'll flirt with Elaine to death. Meliodas will reopen the Boar's Hat with the Sins and Ban advises him against cooking.

(2/2) Nearby there's a shadow lurking on them but they already noticed it and confronts it. Its movements are so fast. Ban even tries to stop it only for his hand to be shredded. The fight ends with its tusk's tip touching Meliodas' back. The Demon asks what it is, to which it answers it's a monstruous person. It wonders if the duo comes from a different world since it heard them mentioning getting back to their world. Ban asks it if it's the Demon King's stooge. It mentions the ruler of the Demon realm as a huge thing and it can lead them to him. However, it wants them to help it. They turn around to find a boar-like being. It introduces itself as Wild and asks them to go find his long-lost brother. Ban and Meliodas shout "Hawk!!!? Master!!!?" to which Wild gives its name again as a pointer. The end.

We see a dish (an omelette with Fraudrin and Dreyfus' heads drawn with ketchup). Dreyfus (with short hair) asks Griamore (as a kid) if he made it, and says as expected of him. And Fraudrin (as long-haired Dreyfus) says Griamore's amazing. Dreyfus presses Fraudrin into changing into his real form, arguing that two same faces is just weird to see. The Demon asks Griamore if he's afraid of him. The answer is no, not in the slightest. Then everybody digs in. Then Fraudrin opens his eyes and finds himself in the meadow with Dreyfus and his son. He asks the father whose dream it is. Dreyfus answers it's the dream of someone among three of them wishing for this. "Isn't that enough?" he asks him. The Demon goes "Oh okay." The end.

Long summary: Hawk wants to get confirmation from Gowther that the one who took away Elizabeth is Estarossa. Gowther says it actually isn't. Flashback: Dad Gowther tells his creation that he'll use a technique to convert the lives and magics to put an end to the Holy War. He says it'll alter the memories of one person and the consciences of the ones who know said individual, even gods. He says if it is successful, the Goddesses will be forced to use the Coffin of Eternal Darkness. He lacks a bit of magic for that so he'll borrow some of the doll's strength, which the latter agrees. End of flashback. King thanks Derrierie for helping saving Elizabeth. The Demon says it isn't her only goal: she never forgets Esta… ro… She gets confused here. Same for Sariel who can't remember Estarossa's face, and for Tarmiel who's discomforted about it. The part arrives at the Sky Theater where they see a giant black monster with the upper part of Estarossa on top of it. They of course attack him. back at Gowther, a good question is asked: The altered consciences will never revert ever again? There's a faint possibility and the affected consciences of every person got harmonized. If an accident ever happens to one of them and the destruction sets in, every conscience will gradually collapse then all in a fell swoop. Anyway, the doubt is confirmed once Gowther arrives at the scene. The troop and Estarossa fight. Sariel is bothered, he can't remember Mael's face. Derrierie, while fighting Estarossa, asks him who he is, adding that there is no such guy as him in the Ten Commandments. Tarmiel's in the same pinch as Sariel and King assumes it's the works of Estarossa. (1/2)



Now we have Elizabeth in the dark. She says Estarossa is in error as Meliodas wouldn't say a lie that'd hurt his brother. That he's worried about Zeldris. Bam, a flashback of Goddess Elizabeth and Meliodas. The Demon tells the Goddess he wanted to save Zeldris and Gelda. After all, he's his only brother. Huh? Then what about Estarossa? We then see the Estarossa/Elizabeth bit about the former being tormented for being unable to kill a bug and the latter picking a dog up. She was asked about its name. It's Estarossa. Here's where Estarossa's image changes into Mael's. Back at the Sky Theater, Hawk remarks that everyone but them seems to be suffering. Gowther tells him the harmonized consciences started crumbling. The memories as a Demon turn into those as a Goddess, the memories with the brother Meliodas turn into those with the brother Ludociel. A whirlwind surrounds Estarossa and Hawk wonders what it is. Gowther says he's going to stop him at the expense of his life, saying it's another sin he bears with his creator, and his responsibility. Some black parts of the black monster break away to reveal the wings. The Archangels can't believe their eyes: it's the Archangel Mael. (2/2)

We're at the Sky Theater. King asks why Estarossa, a Demon, has Goddess wings, Gowther answers that he never existed and says he's Mael the Archangel. The latter wonders if this is a nightmare and notices the haircut. Here comes the flashback: We see the long-haired Mael with Tarmiel, Sariel and Elizabeth. It continues with Mael and Ludociel after killing some Grey Demons. The scene is the same as the Estarossa/Meliodas one a few chapters ago (except it's the Goddesses instead of Demons). Ludociel even adds that he thinks his brother will surpass him. The text says Mael's brother taught him that killing isn't a sin, that he has to become the justice that rescues the souls imprisoned in impure cages. Yep, he killed so many Demons. He was eventually nicknamed the Angel of Death and feared by the Demons. He was his brother's pride and that made him happy. Then he saw Elizabeth's kiss with Meliodas and was very bothered.

Then a sort of light encircles his head. He says he's Estarossa. His conscience notices something's off as he's Mael. The body says he killed Mael and the soul finds ridiculous the fact that he killed him. The body says he dedicates the victory to his father the Demon King and the soul finds such words very sinful and asks the Supreme Deity for forgiveness. The body cuts his hair so he can be like Meliodas, with the soul trying to stop him to no avail. The soul notices something disappearing: the Sun grace leaves the body. The naked Estarossa('s body) was then bestowed the Love decree and the soul wouldn't be able to be by the Supreme Deity if he receives the decree, and tries to stop him. To no avail again. The body gets the mark and uses darkness to make the clothes we know him to wear before joining the Ten Commandments. The soul thinks all of this is a nightmare, that all of it can't be true. The last scenes of the flashback are his fight with the Archangels and his choking Elizabeth. Mael shouts out as it ends. And realizes it isn't a nightmare as his hands felt the killing of thousands of his brethren and the burning of innocent people. He asks who did all this. Gowther says everything is his responsibility and asks him to destroy him

Ran the text on GT, and it apparently says the second brother (Mael, I guess) has half angel wings and half demon wings and he's flying in front of Gowther (I assume it's him, as the name's rendered as Gore on GT).
